Well, Olivia woke up a bit late today. So she's a tad more broody than normal. Despite my efforts at telling her to get up, she blatantly refused. She is now unable to have breakfast, otherwise she'll be late for work.
Don't give me that look, Olivia, it's not my fault you wouldn't get up. As you can see, she's poutily ignoring the audience and myself. Whatever.
Nonetheless, today turned out to be a good day. Olivia was promoted to Office Assistant. All those late nights at the library were a good thing! Congrats, Olivia! She's looking quite chuffed with herself here, while making food. We decided we should go out and celebrate tonight. She deserves it.
Seems Olivia decided on a salad. Watching those calories, are we? Olivia? She responded with a coy "maybe." Smile.
While you're doing that, I'm going to fix our square a little. Expand it out, and add some colour to those walls me thinks.
Ta-Da!
Much better, wouldn't you agree? Olivia didn't seem to care much. :( Clearly it's all about the salad.
Quick bath, a change of clothes and off to the pub to celebrate for an hour or so. You look absolutely gorgeous Olivia! "You really think so?" she uncertainly pondered. "YES." I assured her.
Satisfied with herself and my assurance we had her call a taxi.
When we finally got there, the place was ... well... dead. Olivia wasn't impressed at all.
"Oh well, entire bar to yourself. I'm sure it'll pick up soon." I reassured her.
-- Next minute -- Hellooooooo townies! See? Told you Olivia. :P She just looked at me.
I gave Olivia back her free will. Of course talking to a man is the first thing she decides to do. *insert dramatic eye-roll here.* His name is Liam. Seemed .......nice enough. They chatted pretty much the entire night.
Potential mate, maybe? Olivia gave me that "look." Yes, Olivia, he was definitely cute, perhaps they could have a little fun, but it too early to tell or decide if he'd make a good potential partner.
He also has absolutely no idea on her current life venture. Neither of us knew if he'd be able to handle it or not.
After several hours of constant chatting, they were interrupted by another fellow. (Where are the potential female friends?!)
Turns out they work together in the same office, just different departments. "I can't believe we work together!" Olivia expressed. "I'm surprised I haven't seen you around the office." Aiden responded, a hint of flirtatious teasing in his voice.
Before long Aiden had Olivia laughing uproariously at some joke or whatnot about work. She really had no idea that some of the managers, at least were decent people. He seemed far better than her own manager.
They talked and talked and talked and laughed. Liam looks a bit awkward there in the background, if I do say so myself.
After an hour or so, they decided to include Liam in the banter. (Aww, bless their little cotton socks!) That's really kind of you Olivia, remembering that not everyone works at the same place, nor do they all know the same people.
The night rippled into the early hours of the morning and as such, Olivia needed to head home. I really didn't enjoy breaking up her fun evening, but if we were to keep on top of needs and emotions, we'd have to head off home.
Olivia (for a change) didn't seem to have any complaints. I waved my hand in front of her face and yet still, her expression remained like this. Someone's a little struck, I think. But with who?!
Eventually Olivia's thoughts returned to reality, and she went to bed. G'night, Olivia!
